Craftspert
Joan, I like that word. And I think there was a time when I could have been called a "craftspert." I made stuff for my work as a children's librarian and I made stuff just for fun or just to see if I could. I was "creative." I sewed Barbie clothes for my nieces; made collages and pastel drawings; learned to crochet (though not as well as Joan); embroidered; cross-stitched; made puppets;...
But that was in another lifetime -- mainly when I was single. I don't seem to have time for being a craftspert anymore. Maybe I have different ways of being "creative" now that I'm a working wife and mother. I miss all that other stuff, though, and I still see crafty things and think "I could do that!"
Maybe it's time to start again.

YAY! Thank you AJ. I like to call you AJ. Yes, I still have many of those barbie clothes! You have always been an artistic inspiration to both me and June. It might be good for you to take up one creative project again. Supposedly it works a different side of your brain, which helps brain function or something like that! :)
I also like this template. Good job!
Mom--I love your blog. It seems like you're figuring quite a bit of stuff out without my help.
Gina called today and asked if I was coming in Wednesday. Evidently, I told her I'd be back to lead worship. Anyway, I told her no, that I was coming home to hang out with the fam for a few days.
So I'll see you Wednesday
